Last to Know

Music on the Rocks' headliner, Last to Know, is a six-piece band blending the heartiest world rhythms with jam-band passion, while muddying the lines between Americana roots music, disco, funk and bluegrass.

LTK has shared the bill with Hot Buttered Rum String Band, The Motet, Buckwheat Zydeco, Culture, The Vince Herman Trio, The Skatalites, and Leftover Salmon. They have played the Main Stage at the annual Taos Solar Music Festival - a stage graced by Los Lobos, Michael Franti and Spearhead, String Cheese Incident, Richard Thompson, New Monsoon, Michelle Shocked, Big Head Todd and the Monsters, Harry Belafonte, and Leo Kottke, among others.

The band has performed at several other festivals including the 2011 Music on the Rocks at Sipapu, Silverton Jamboree, Crestone Music Festival, Alibi Spring Crawl in downtown Albuquerque, the Santa Fe Thirsty Ear Festival, and the Dreamtime Festival. Based in Taos, New Mexico, Last to Know has been together, writing and performing since 1999.

Main Street Garage Band

Based out of Boulder, Colorado, the Main Street Garage Band is a six-piece band with a distinctly pop sound. This year marks the third time the MOTR alumni has brought their talent to the stage at MOTR.

Monkey Feeders

Voted Best Band in Taos in 2012, the Monkey Feeders is a Taos-favorite that showcases everything from country and soul to blues and pop, all weaved together with a unique rock and roll sound. Known for playing each performance without a set list (they opt to choose their songs on the spot, based on their own impulses and the audience vibe), audiences flock to their high-energy, distinctly dance-able sound. The band’s extensive repertoire covers songs by Aretha Franklin, Dr. John, Stevie Wonder, The Pointer Sisters, Bonnie Raitt, Edie Brickell, Kings of Leon, Tina Turner, Etta James, Pink Floyd, Cindy Lauper, The Cure, Kings of Leon and Jerry Garcia. This year marks the first time Monkey Feeders have graced the MOTR stage.

Cali Shaw Band

CaliShaw

Born out of the belly of the Mission District of San Francisco and now hailing from Albuquerque, New Mexico, Cali Shaw is an American singer-songwriter who co-founded the popular southwest funk contingent Felonious Groove Foundation, which received unanimous praise and awards by the New Mexico Music Awards and International John Lennon Song Writing Competition. With his first full-length solo album release (Winter Bloom) due later this summer, Cali and his band will bring their new folk music, murder ballads, shanties and songs during their MOTR debut.

Jenne McIntosch

1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Vocalist, guitarist and pianist Jenne McIntosh delivers an acoustic lyrical blues type of sound. She's been playing on stages for over twenty years, and she has opened on side stages for a variety of artists, including Yanni, Travis Tritt, Olivia Newton John and more. She loves experimenting with music and she will be performing both original songs and creative covers during her second MOTR appearance.
