Music on the Rocks 2015

 

Music on the Rocks, is our annual weekend-long music festival Friday through Sunday, September 25-27, 2015. This event blends outstanding music by local and regional musicians, fantastic food and beverages, art in the meadow and an outdoor, alpine venue at the foot of our mountain.

Music on the Rocks, takes place at Sipapu Ski and Summer Resort, located at 5224 Highway 518, just 20 miles southeast of Taos and two hours north of Albuquerque. For directions, please click here.

We suggest you bring along chairs, blankets, umbrellas (shows happen rain or shine) and a warm layer (mountain temperatures are expected to be in the mid-70's). 

 

New to the Festival

Music on the Rocks is a fantastic family event, chock full of fun. This year's festival features a designated area just for kids, where they can enjoy FREE face painting, art projects and disc golf. 

Pets are family, too. If you travel with your pet, you won't want to miss our Pet Parade at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 26. Your $10 entry fee benefits Stray Hearts of Taos. Pet/Owner costumes are encouraged, and 1st and 2nd Place prizes will be awarded. 

Finally, don't miss our enter-to-win raffle. Each raffle ticket is just $5, and all proceeds will be given to a designated Music on the Rocks nonprofit beneficiary (TBD). You could win:
