Telefest (FREE) The Sipapu Telemark Festival (known as Telefest) is the place to learn or perfect your bended knee turns. Demo the newest telly gear or participate in a clinic for FREE during the event. For more information, click here. February Fun Fest (FREE) Our most popular family event! February Fun Fest features a huge snow castle that kids love. Plus, the weekend is packed with games and a treasure hunt for the entire family, including the annual costume contest on Saturday. Prizes awarded daily! For more information, click here. Cardboard Derby (FREE) Another family favorite, Sipapu’s Cardboard Derby showcases creativity, speed and style – all from a cardboard box! Participants are invited to build their own vehicles (made of cardboard, duct tape, string, twine and paint only) and race it down the mountain for their chance to win a prize. All ages and vehicle sizes are welcome! For more information, click here. Pond Skimming (FREE) Sipapu creates a huge “skimming pond” at the base of the mountain every year for this popular event. Participants ski or snowboard down a designated hill and try to ride across the water of the chilly waters. Laughter – and wet clothes! – is guaranteed. For more information, click here.
